SolarSmart® is a fully automatic, insulated glass technology that darkens in response to sunlight. It requires no power source or wiring, which simplifies installation. This glass is self-tinting — it becomes darker as the sun gets brighter, and lightens at night or on rainy, cloudy days. SolarSmart reduces heat gain, sun glare, and blocks 99.9% of damaging UV rays, protecting artwork, fabrics and furniture, as well as occupants throughout the day. It is energy-efficient and lowers costs associated with cooling, air conditioning and artificial lighting.

CoolVu Transitional Window Film installs easily on existing windows, has no wires or mechanical parts, and “transitions” from a lighter to a darker tint when exposed to sunlight. On bright sunny days, CoolVu reacts to the sun’s intensity and darkens to reduce sun glare and heat gain. On cloudy, rainy days and at night, CoolVu remains unchanged, preserving your views and maximizing available daylight.
